Its a 2000 F-350 Superduty with the V-10. I know mileage will suck(the computer in the visor says 9.9mpg) but I was ready for that. It should be a great puller for the Ranger on my 18' gooseneck flatbed. I might just make the reunion run in Tennesse with this rig.............

OK Mark, i may have to ask for a ride in it at some point in time!!!!!

Looks nice!!!!!!! Congrats!

9.9 miles per gallon!!! Wouldn't it be cheaper to just drive the Ranger over? Keep an eye on that V-10, when we were looking for a 250 or 350 we found a V-10 it had under a hundred thousand miles and was already on it's second engine. I'm not saying you'll have a problem on yours, just keep an eye on it. Other than the gas burner it's a nice truck, personally I'd have held out for the diesel at 20+ mpg.

You also would have paid $5-7k more for the same truck and then been disappointed when it didn't get 20+ mpg . Nice truck man, it'll be a great tow rig. As far as the gas mileage goes, they can actually do pretty well on the freeway. I've achieved between 14-16mpg with my dads V10 before. It's a crew cab shortbed 4x4.

Everything I've read about the Ford V10 suggests that it is a fairly problem free engine. I've driven some Superduties with that engine and found them to be more than adequate in the torque and HP department.
