Well i was sorta bored and I thought I would do a few things to my truck. First was the Ranger emblems on the front fenders.
Before:

I decided to take off the XL just to make it look a little cleaner.

Then a coat of paint and back on the truck:

Then i took a look at my grill...It was getting pretty chipped

and the color was starting to fade and look a little off. Sorta hard to tell in the picture though

So I painted it again

And here is the final product

Looks good, i always liked on my truck it just said ranger since i have the edge package, but good work, i like the front bumber i want to make me one but im thinking it would weigh the front to much and take my MPG down a good number

I like the decal of just RANGER. Mine has xlt under it. I know this will sound stupid, but how did the emblem come off???

Thanks for the remarks fellas!

Dep. Ranger not a stupid question at all. It's held on there by an adhesive foam sorta stuff. On the back of the decal there are two plastic prongs that fit into holes on the fender for alignment. All I did was take some fishing line and work it back and forth between the emblem and the truck to separate the foam adhesive. I didn't know about the plastic tabs though. I just though i was at a tough piece of foam and worked the line even harder and the fishing line actually cut the tabs. Once you have your emblem off just clean the foam adhiesive off your truck and emblem. Then I took a hack saw and cut off the "XL" and then took a file to smooth it all up. I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to remove the unwanted plastic. It's pretty soft. Once it was off I painted it with some Krylon fusion paint and put it back on with some 3M Trim adheasive. I've heard that 3M has an emblem glue but i've heard bad things about it pulling paint off it you take the emblem off again. I've never used it though so I don's have first hand knowledge. The trim adheasive is a gray foam that's almost exactly like what was there originally and that why i went with it. Hope that helps. If you have any other questions i'll try and help. Good Luck.

Thanks Alot Buck!

I might have to do this to my truck.
Thanks for the help!:headbang:
