Its an 89 2.9l 5 speed with a 3 inch body lift, explorer leafs and coils 31x10.50 wild countrys and an 8.8 swap with 3.73s, a trac lok, and disc brakes. i just put a new zoom clutch in last week and it pulls like a champ. My future plans are a 4.0 swap with an m5od and a dana 35, skyjacker class II 4 inch lift with radius arms and superrunner steering for the front and Chevy springs and drop shackles in the back. i wanna run 4.56 gears a Detroit locker in the rear and 33x12.50 super swamper tsl tires. What do ya'll think?

Yeah I got some more pics. This is what it looks with stock 4wd explorer leafs and coils with the stock lift blocks taken out of the back. the coils don't seem to give it any visible lift but after installed my drivers side tire doesn't rub on the inner fender anymore. It also seems to ride a LOT better on the road. No more body roll in the corners.

very nice looking ranger, im digging the wheels

looks cool man i like those rims alot you got a close up of them

No, actually i don't have a pic of the wheels, but I'll tell you they look like crap up close. they came on my dads ranger and the guy he bought it from spray painted them black and they're all cracking and peeling now. I'm waiting till I get a new set of tires to put my 15x10 steel rock crawlers on.

Very clean truck! I like it alot!

The BBQ in the foreground looks sweet as well

All it has for lift right now is the coils and leafs from a 4x4 explorer and a 3" BL. I've found a few early model 4x4 explorers on craigslist around here for 500-800 bucks but they've all been automatics and i need a 5 speed but hopefully i'll be able to start a 4.0 and dana 35 swap soon. Then I'll start saving up for a skyjacker 4" kit.

There isn't really any noticeable lift but before i put them in the front driver's side tire rubbed plastic inside the wheel well really bad when turning left and with the coils in it stopped. It also stiffened up the front end a little so i feel it was well worth the 20 bucks.
