Firstly, is there a coolant drain plug on the block and where the $%#@ is it??

Second, where is the oil pressure sender on the 4.0? I want to install an aftermarket oil pressure gauge, but I can't seem to find anything but the oil level sender.

Coolant drain on the block, no... There's one on the passenger side of the radiator. Oil pressure sender is on the drivers side, just ahead of the motor mount, it will have a haxagonal pipe with a 45* hole coming out of the block and then the sender will be screwed into it, you can remove just the sender and plug into the pipe or remove both and plug into the block.

Are you sure about that? Many V6s have nondescript little copper pipe-threaded plugs underneath the exhaust manifolds, in back, on both sides. No one ever touches them, so sometimes even pro techs with 20 years experience don't know they are there.

I haven't gone looking on my 4.0L, but I know they were there on my former 1986 2.9L. They were quite easy to miss.

there aren't any on the bare 91 block i have.some bosses that look like they can be drilled but no drain plug
