would it hurnt anything if for the winter i just unplug the electric to teh ac compressor? it alwasy kicks on when i ahve heat on defrost and it just annoys me. it wont hurt anything will it?

Won't hurt anything, but you'll lose a lot of the system's ability to defog the windows on Defrost (the A/C running helps it remove more moisture from the air).

o well shit thanks. ill leave it unplugged then. i prefer more moisture int eh winter. helps my asthma

As a second option, you can toggle one of the wires that goes to the compressor, then if you do need the A/C to kick on while you're driving, its right there with the flip of a switch.

theres an idea. maybe when i do the other wiring next summer. u kno like new lights. tool box lights. some extra brightness in my truck bed nd shtuff.
