A bit sad about this

When someone in the family is really ill or about the first month after some passes the character of every one is revealed.I had just been dating my g/f for a little while hadn't introduced her to the family or anything.My father passes unexpectedly and quickly my family is at my brothers in shock and she shows up with a pot of spaghetti and garlic bread [comfort food] does the dishes and runs errands.My point is criticize the bil but be thankful for your wife who steps up on bills and rental and makes you proud.

I just saw this thread and you all are in my prayers. I hope that things have settled down with the brother in law, but from experience as a pastor, I can guess that they have not. I hope the docs are able to keep your father in law comfortable during this time as that will help to ease the pain that the rest of the family is having.

Unfortunately he passed away in September. My brother in law has been better but he's still a concern. Fortunately my wife has taken on the financial stuff and that makes things easier.
