99 3.0L Flex Fuel, Manual, bought it 4 months ago, 116k miles... asked guy if there was anything that i needed to know about it after i bought it... got about 1 week into driving it and it started to miss on one cylinder.. changed plug wires, and plugs, i then noticed that cylinder #4 spark plug was fouled out and apon closer inspection a piece of porcalin around the electrode was broken off (heat im guessing?) ever since then it goes through about a quart and half of oil a week.. smokes bad (blue/white smoke) on idle, smoke doesnt smell like oil at all.. really sweet smell to it but it isnt burning coolant at all... any ideas? if i need a new motor where is the best place to find a good replacement? or will a larger motor drop in... thnx
forgot to add.. engine check light has always been on since it first happened.. when it did first happen i was cruising about 55 mph 5th gear and i went to pass and down shift it had what seemed like a little back fire, then started missing on every hit on one cylinder and smoking...
