I just replaced my pads and rotors within the last 1500 miles. Going down the road, they sound as if the pads are rubbing and you can hear a grinding noise. About the same noise as when you get down to the wear indicator. Also, it shudders, it seems as if the pads will grip the rotor then let go, and repeat it until I come to a stop and it literally shakes the whole truck while slowing down. Help?

perhaps you have a caliper that is seizing on, might have heated up enough to cause the rotor to warp.

At only 1500 miles? You think so? What other possibilities? I got the rotors from autozone so I could always take em back under warranty.

If the caliper is seized causing the rotor to warp becasue the brakes are dragging and building up excessive heat, its not the rotors fault. Jack up the front end and see if both tires will sping freely. If one is dragging hard you've probably got a seized caliper.
