Well had a problem mounting up my steering brackets the other day, the pump wanted the same space as the steering box.

So today I had some free time and made my own bracket

Got my radiator support in and also moved my radiator forward to gain more room for the fan.

Yea you should be good with shorties and the sas steering column wise if not just throw an extra ujount in it and a pillow block to hold it steady

Did a little bit today, got a flex a lite fan installed today, still have to make a shroude. Still might go to a electric fan. Time will tell. Also measured for a rear drive shaft, plan on taking it to a shop on Monday to get made longer.

Got out to the garage for the first time in a cople of weeks , install my hydraulic clutch setup, hook up my throttle linkage and did a little wiring. Here a pic of the set up I used for the hydraulic clutch.

Not in the same situation, but my rear half is roached on d side around the rear leaf mount & that whole side of the spare carrier is all but gone. Looking to replace. What size bolts did you use for the cross member rivets? I've done the springs mounts before, no big.
Side note to ALL New to owning a TRUCK: Remove the Spare from time to time & CLEAN OUT the road dirt & salt (States above the Bible Belt) to prevent this.

In most states like that the spare just rusts and falls off. I know my trucks was gone when i got it.

Thanks, I was pretty excited to hear it run. Still have a lot to do yet before she's back on the road again

Keep at it. Your making good progress. Lots of us have to balance time and money on these things. I'd bet a lot of guys on here are watching you looking forward to seeing theirs run again. I am. :icon_thumby:
