So I have a 99 ranger with no lift or T bar crank. I want to possibly be able to run 33's which I know I can probably do as it is now but.. I was wondering if I could add 1" pucks under the body mounts as a small body lift. I don't want 3" of lift and I don't feel like paying 200 + the ungodly amount of shipping I would have to pay to get it to alaska.

My plan is to just get like 12 hocky pucks drill holes in them and lift the body by an inch. Will there be any problems besides a little space between the bumpers (hopefully I will be making some sweet custom bumpers this summer.) Like the steering link, any cables/wires/lines, shifter? that I need to worry about?

99 Hockey pucks? Is that the Canadia version of 99 Luffballons or what you gave your son to play with?

Hockey pucks are just fine for a 1" lift on the cheap. Shouldn't affect anything really. I did a 2" BL on my choptop without modifying anything although I really should relocate the e-brake cable bracket on the frame up a lil.

hockey pucks are a fine option, only trouble is they tend to dry out over time

Yeah... no. I'm only twenty and don't plan on kids til atleast 30... That and I live in Alaska not canada (though they are very close...)

Yeah I know but they are cheap enough that I dont care a whole bunch, I'll just replace them every couple years...

Well thanks for the replies, I'm gonna go count my mounts and pick some up, This summers gonna be awesome, gotta put in my amp, dynomat or something, the pucks, hopefully some better gearing and 33's.:yahoo:
