So let me try an make this as short as I can

My 99 ranger 2.5 had bad plugs. so bad when I went to replace them they fell apart. bcus they feel apart I had to remoe the intake manifold to get them off the old plus.

I replaced the plugs an wire then put it all back together,
Now it wont run. It starts an runs for a second but hitting the gas doe nothing an after a few 20 seconds or so it just shuts off.

So I replaced the fuel filter thinking maybe when I released th pressure it got clogged. Tha didint work.

Now I'm stuuck. I'm not really very good at these things an I can not go to a shop till next pay day to have it fixed prob iis my job wont wait for me to go to work Lol.

Any tips on how I can trouble shoot this?
I'm a hard worker an will listen to any thing you guys tell me exactly how you tell me. Thank you VERY much for any help

Brad

Are the plug wires installed in the right order? Is the CEL on?

check for wires you would have unplugged while removing intake.. like IACV sensor, IAT,TPS and MAF

Sound like a massive vacuum leak, you didn't pinch a wire under the intake while apart?Good ,clean surfaces bolt together?Vacuum hose under the intake?Take it back apart and reinstall
