99 4hi 4lo lights blinking

Put new manual hubs on my 99 ranger 4.0 and it works but sometimes it won't engage and 4hi 4lo lights blink any help appreciated thanks

i had the same problem... i didnt really need 4wd at the time so i just ignored it, then i unhooked my battery to do some stuff with the stereo, and i never saw th lights again,,,,but now my t-case is completly shot idk how i hardly used it that year
