I have a fuel tank out of a 99 ranger 3.0 with the plastic lock ring on the top and I was wondering if I could put that tank in my 96 3.0 ranger. My tank now has the steel lock ring on the top and it's rusted out and leaks. Will that 99 tank work in my 96? Thanks
