We have a 99 4x4. We got a doner vehicle for body parts and a swap to standard. Its also a 99 but its a 2x4 M50D-R1 . The tranny will need an adapter to fit and make it a 4x4 tranny. My question is is there any other tranny i could fit in there.
I can get a 4x4 tranny from a mazda b4000 really cheap. Its either 98-99 as body parts fit my other 98. Either i could use it or maybe use the adapter from it ( if possible).
That B4000 tranny and the 3.0l ranger tranny are supposed to be the same but i'm wondering about bolt patterns, bell housing and fitment to the transfer case.
