99 2WD V8/5spd

Hello, I am new to this site and am looking for some advise. I have a 1999 Mazda B2500 2WD 5speed. I want to do a 5.0 swap from an explorer but want to keep it a 5 speed. I need any advice I can get on this issue. Also any resources or tips. Thanks.
