My rear window started leaking 2 months ago and i have been told that I can pull it out and replace the sealant myself and I have read also read that it should be done by a professional because it is put in with urethane adhesive. So which is it? To me it looks like it is held in place by about 8 bolts on the interior side. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Before you take the window out, make sure the water isn't coming in from the third brake light. It's a common problem for these trucks, and it's much easier to fix.

It'a about 100$ to remove and replace. Best to leave that to a professionnal.
Just be sure it's coming from the window.

Thanks Guys

I know its not coming from the third brake light, that happened last year and I have already corrected that. I have pulled the trim peice off from under the window and you can sit and watch the leak come in from around the passenger side corner and a couple of places around the middle. Thanks for the quick answers.
