98 ranger xlt to 86 ford 302 swap help

Hi there I'm Derek I'm new to this site and I'm sorry if this is on here already but, I have a 98 ranger xlt and my buddy is selling me a 86 f150 and i want to put the 86 302 motor and tranny in the ranger, how difficult is this and what all do i need to do/buy

honestly, if you get the F150 for free it wouldnt be worth it. keep your money and look for a wrecked V8 explorer. then youll have 90% of what you need for a swap
