I have a line from under the intake manifold, with the only place I see to put back to is a "Tee" inline with the heater hose by the passenger side fenderwall. It makes no sense.
Anybody with a 2.5 that could take a look to see if this is correct??? Reassembling motor after changing a cracked head. Sure don't want to suck antifreeze back through the intake, at least I don't think so.
This is a 2.5, 8 plug SOHC.

Yeah, there is a vacuum operated heater core bypass valve in line with the heater hoses.

Thanks

Thanks, not sure why its needed. Where the vacuum line goes has brown residue inside. Wonder if this puppy could malfunction, causing coolant to be sucked in to the engine and cause a cracked head?? Never overheated. I think I'll put a golf tee on this line temporarily to see if any coolant leaks thru.
