98 offroad

Hey guys just bought a 98 ranger scab stepside 4.0 5 speed it has 31 10.50s on it and I'm getting ready to take it on it's maiden voyage to smorr what are some things I should look into buying upgrades or tools before I go also what may be some things to look out for and yes I'm fairly new to the offroad scene

Nobody has a 98 with a little advice?

Make sure your 4x4 works! 98-99 are known for 4x4 problems. Other than that have fun! Don't get cocky just because you drive a cool Ranger now
