I know that super lifts has a 3"-4" lift, this may sound stupid to some of you,
but can you add a traxxus T-bar key to that aswell to get say 5"-6" of lift.

Im lifting my truck this summer and adding rims and tires 255/85/16s

Thanks alot every one

will you need that much lift for those tires??

I have 33s on my 98 with just a body lift.

you wouldn't even need to lift your truck for that. I was able to put 285x75x16 tires on my 99 ranger with only a t-bar crank and add a leaf, they only rubbed at max turn. My truck came with 245x75x16 tires stock. Depending on how serious you are going to be with off roading I would either just put on those tires, or go bigger with a lift.

If you want to get serious save up for the superlift and find some bigger tires. I live in the middle of the Rocky Mnts and I use my ranger for anything from hunting to hard core exploring and it is also my Daily Driver. I'm saving up for the superlift with a coilover conversion. the coilover conversion will cost about 1k and the superlift is a variable. Its all up to you and where you want to take your ranger. Good luck with whatever you decide.
