ok guys i was wondering i want to get some aftermarket tail lights for my truck but i cant find anything for my truck can anyone help

I believe that since the beds are different... that ranger tails won't fit without modification... I may be wrong though.

The only lights I know of that will work are the newer Ford Ranger STX taillights but they are exactly the same as your taillights.

there is no option. stick with the mazda tails, or mod the bed to fit Ranger tails.

odd.. since the 1998 mazda b series was built at the same manufacturing plant as the ford ranger. so, i thought the tail lights would be interchangeable

mazda tails have a curve on the bottom

ranger tails are a bit more squared

i think that the headlights from a 98-00 ranger do fit a 98+ mazda. but thats it.

Well the engine and frame may have been made at the ford plant because they are essenially the same truck, but the mazda B series has a few differences like the tail lights, headlights, and the side window areas. but they have the same interior, frame and drivetrain as a ranger.

one question um does the ranger bed bolt up to the mazda frame like does it have the same box bolts?

Options are to keep as is, tint them with VHT Nightshades or maybe a candy red, or swap a Ranger bed in and open up your options to all the custom lights (3 bulb I assume) out there for the Ranger

Yes a ranger bed will bolt straight up to your mazda truck.
