98 Ford ranger xlt larger shocks?

hey guys i have a question about my 98 xlt ranger 2wd i have to replace the stock shocks soon and i waswonder if i put largere shocks on would it give me more of a lift? if anybody could giv me some answerss that help out alo

Shocks do not give lift. If you mean coils then then do but shocks do not lift a truck.
