I grabbed a cluster with a tach out of a 96 Explorer yesterday. I got it installed, but have a few questions.
1) There is a "FUEL RESET" light at the top center of the cluster, what is that for? I pulled the bulb because it stayed illuminated, and I do not think I have anyway to reset it.
2) The "Check Engine" light does not illuminate with the key on, engine off like most of the other lights do...should it? I double checked to make sure the bulb was good, and it is. Is there something I can unplug, like the MAF sensor, that should trip the light immediately?
3) The coolant gauge does not work. Any ideas?
4) I swapped the odometer. I do not think I stabbed the needle on the speedometer back on there quite right. Any tips on how to put the need back on there accurately without playing a dangerous game at highway speeds?
