98 Ranger, with 99 Explorer 5.0 and auto tranny 2WD. Have an SCT X3 tuner, have tried a couple of the canned tunes with the same result. Runs fine with stock tune, but when I load a preloaded tune it runs like crap. At idle, she sounds alot better and seams the tune is doing its thing. Until, I put it in gear, it falls flat on it's face. No power, sounds totally bogged down. The only thing I can think of, and don't know if it matters. I have a manual valve body, so none of the trans tuning matters. Could this cause an issue ? As soon, as I load the stock tune back in all is normal. Motor is stock, except MSD coils. Any thoughts ?
