hello all one last question to save my truck.

The only 5 spd manule transmission I can find within reason, is from a 98 ranger with a 4 cylinder. My truck is a 93 3.0 v6.

Will the transmission bolt up to my engine?

I believe your stuck with needing one from a 3.0. Have you thought of rebuilding yours? Kits are fairly inexpensive and it's not that difficult to do on an M50D providing your case is still in good condition.

No, Lima 2.0l/2.3l/2.5l engines have a unique bolt pattern for transmission.

This can be confusing since Ford did make 2.3l/2.5l HSC engines, for Front wheel drive, these do have same pattern as your Vulcan 3.0l, but only transmission you would find would be transverse mounted, front wheel drive only.

Your Vulcan 3.0l is also unique so you pretty much have to get one from another 3.0l rear wheel drive

Also, after 1994 the way the speedo works changed drastically. The 98 trans would not have anywhere to put the speedo cable in.
