98 4.0 sohc explorer engine into a 94 4.0 ranger

I have a 1994 ranger with the 4.0 in it. It's auto and 4x4. It has almost 200k miles and the head gasket blew. Since it has so many miles I was planning on just replacing the engine. My pawpaw has a wrecked 98 explorer with the sohc 4.0. What all will I need to do to do the swap? I'm kinda new to this and still learning as I go so any help is appreciated, thanks!

If you don't mind a check engine light, you don't have to do much. The SOHC has a deeper oil pan, so there is a little bit of clearance issue, but it can be over come.
