I have a 98 b3000, a month ago, I had the #3 exhaust valve gald fast and stick open, the push rod dropped out of the rocker and bent, Rebuild the head, new push rods, and lifters, (before this happened every once in a while im assuming it was this valve that would stick on startup, and tap (not tick) for the first min or so.
Well it did it again. just stuck on startup for about 10 sec. I pulled the valve cover and checked the oil flow to the rockers, It only slowly Oozed out, it probably took 15 seconds for the oil to build up enough to run off the end of the rocker arm.
Engine has 125.000 miles, was well maintained and little to no sludge, oil just changed, after head job.
Took an oil pressure reading, by removing the sending unit, and installing a guage. 58psi at idle, 90psi mid throttle.

Any ideas?? or it this the nature of it. hopefully I can attach the picture of the valve I had to replace.
