So got started officially today on the suspension and drive line on my '89 BII.
Future of this truck includes
Dana 35 (installed as of today)
8.8 Rear
Lockers
new gears (unsure of ratio yet)
Home built Rad. arms ( 4x4Junkie knockoffs)
Suspension lift (front done today)
Durango leaf springs
4.0 from my '92 donor truck
Tires (not sure on size yet)
Fab up Bumpers and rock rails.
and more as I think of it
D28 ready to come out
The typical pic from everyone who does this swap
Drop brackets in the I got from Member Gumby
Dana 35 Painted up and ready to got in - the pumpkin which is staying out till it gets gears and a locker
Here its sitting on its own, Coils aren't final at all, in fact they are stock coils with about 3/4 of another set of stock coils wound together so I could get it out of the shop, But all in all it looks like I should be able to run EB 3 1/2" lift coils and be in the ball park.
Next steps are figure out the steering, i'm thinking something along the lines of the stonecrusher set up the ThatGuy was running from JD. and Durango Leafs in the rear once I get some final measurements from the junk yard to make sure they will work..
More pics later
