no the no slip goes in an open carrier. now idk if he still have the limited slip...

nice, keep up the work. keep us posted. lets see some flex shots of that stonecrusher steering.

Nope had a open carrier that I used and sold the L/S to a TRS'er awhile back. Yup thats my box. I had a guy that wanted it but he never got a hold of me to come get it so I figured I'd throw it back out there.

I gotta cut the front fenders before I can flex 'er out first. See what I can get this weekend when I re-do the front suspension. Might get another inch out of it.

found some 2x2x1/8" tube do you guys think 1/8 thick material is strong enough for sliders?

i think it depends on how hard you plan on wheeling. i like to build stuff once, pesonally i'd go with something thicker.

1/8th is better than nothing. but if you have a choice, go thicker.

could always plate it with something to.

wait, pipe is round right...:icon_rofl:
nevermind... :icon_twisted:

Well Got the front suspension almost done.

Didn't get any pics sitting with weight on it cause the camera died will get some tomorrow but it sits almost level and the camber is pert near perfect to. Hoping to try the 4" shocks tomorrow to see how they handle the new coils so I can get an idea of what valving I need. Hoping to fix my rusted off shackle hanger and install the new ones and the belltech 6400s tomorrow.

:icon_surprised::drool::drool::drool::drool:i can't even speak. excuse me while i go change my pants after that last pic..:icon_twisted:

Thanks I Did do a test flex and it did it really well but I didn't go to hard cause I don't have the coils retained at all. More to come tomorrow

Lovin the baja claws and the RA's. I want the RA's so I can do away with that front crossmember

Man that thing has some flex now.... interesting setup you got so far.

The RA's will look really good once I get the frame sanded and re-painted again. I've been slacking on getting that done this spring. Well gotta go get more work done. More pics later

Hey all. Got the front buttoned up today but didn't get to the rear, Didn't have long enough bolts for the shackles sooo I got the tool box mounted and the license plate and gas filler tube mounted up as well. Pretty simple but should be effective. Sorry for the blurry pics I had my old camera that I keep in my tool box, forgot the new one at home.

Testing out the flex with the coils, no shocks hooked up or brake lines. Started to lift the right rear. Hoping the new shackles and added leaf will help the rear flex.

Compressed Coil

Non Compressed side. The coil bowing in on this side bothers me, It rubs while driving and is rather annoying. Gonna try and rotate it to see if that makes a difference

Steering contacting the axle bracket, A little unhappy about this and not really sure what to do about it. Any suggestions? Thought about moding the RA brackets and push the axles forward an inch or so.

Front sagging, It only does it when backin up doesn't seem to do it much when braking. Would stiffer shocks help this? What I have now is stock Skyjacker hydro shocks. I was surprised that they even controlled it at all but driving it down the road is a little wandery but not terrible

And the old Rough Country 4" lift out

Up next is get new U-bolts, Longer 9/16 bolts for the leaf springs and shackles and get the rear all fixed up and see if I can ditch the stacked block crap. And finish up the bed with a tire carrier, cooler mount and some flexy fenders and tail lights of course
