97 ranger neutral safety switch

need to know what color wires are neutral safety switch. 97 ranger.2.3, 44e trans. converted to 5 speed need to hook up clutch switch to old ns switch thanks

Rangers just had one wiring harness for manual or automatic, 1998 and older.
If an automatic was installed then an "extra" wiring harness was installed from the Clutch switch location down to NSS switch location on the trans shift linkage.


If you look up under the dash above the clutch/brake pedal location, you will see the Wire connector for the Clutch switch, it will have the Automatic trans wiring harness plugged into it, unplug it then plug connector into the Clutch switch.
