will the buckets off of a 95 or 96 mustang fit directly onto a 97 ext cab ranger also what yrs of the escort will fit that year ranger? to switch out the seats do you take the runners off the body or the seats off the runners? i found a 96 mustang at a salvage yard, seats were in pretty good shape, i want to know if they'll fit before i buy them. the yard wants $150.00 for the pair seems fair to me. what do you guys think?

Well, first of all, there is a search function and a tech section of the website for exactly this purpose. Secondly, 150 sounds steep to me.

95 96 mustang

i went to the tech pages but the years of the different models was not given

got a new set of black seats for my 94 gt and put the old tan ones in my ranger. all you need to do is bolt the ranger slider to the mustang seat and the holes in the bottom of the seat are already there but you need to tap the back 2 i believe. but yes they bolt right in and look pretty good. you can even reuse the ranger plastic side cover. 1995 ranger

thank you for your advise i need it

yeah, but 150? i paid 25 for the passenger seat of an explorer a week ago, those seats better be in damn good condition.

ya i would expect to pay $150 for mint looking seats... if they are dingy, worn cushion, worn fabric, or anything slightly wrong at all, low ball them and see what they say... tell them you know of another junkyard that has way better offers, but you'd rather come to that one because it's closer.. but if you have to you can drive out to the other one, even with the cost of gas it would still be less than half the price.

i'd got $100 max if they are really nice.

thanks for your inputs. now ill try finding a console and be all set . i saw the mounting instructions in the tech pages but i had 1 question about mounting the console, do i have to drill holes for the mounting brackets or are there some there already? probably a stupid question to some but .... thanks
