97 Ranger 3.0 engine

What are the differences between a 93 Ranger 3.0 and a 97 Ranger 3.0 engine? I am looking at a 93 Ranger that needs an engine. I have a good 97 3.0 Ranger engine. I'm wondering if's it worth my time to put the 97 engine in a 93 body.

'91 to '97 were pretty much the same engine-wise

Use the sensors from the '93 on the '97 so PCM and wiring won't need to be changed.

the only real diff is and i may stand corrected: '93 is a "dizzy" distributor type ignition, and in I think '96 the 3.0 became a non dizzy (crank triggered ignition. basically you would need to change harness and computer from the '97 going into the '93.
