Hi all, replacing the clutch in a 97 ranger. Faced with two choices that I haven’t heard of before. Self adjusting or diaphragm. I’m guess the diaphragm is oem. Can been looked up on autozone.com Just wondering what the difference is? Anyone have ideas?

I think I will follow this thread. I thought these clutches were all self adjusting. if it was my truck i would prob put the self adjusting one in. lets see what others say

From what I understand the hydralic master/slave cylender is the self adjusting part of the system.
