ok guys any help is needed. i have a 97 ranger, 2.3l. this thing is driveing me nuts, to start it in the mornings i need to keep giving it gas till it hit midway on the temp gauge, then it will run great till i shut it off then i have to wait till it gets cold to restart it, changed the iac out,new plugs wire t-belt,new upper and low gaskets was gonne check the icm but cant find it on this truck, h and a new fuel pump and sending unit and filter,and help im getting lost on this one
 
The PCM should be on the driver's side firewall under the hood- kinda up top a few inches below the windshield on the firewall. Is it throwing any codes?

check the engine coolant temp sender.It acts like the choke on a cold engine.It is located on the intake.
