97 b2300 2.3l 2x4 ext cab - question about tire size

New to forum. I read quite a few entries but didn't see what I'm looking for.
My 97 b2300 has stock wheels. They're 14 inch. I currently have Firestone firehawk 500 P235x70r14 tires. I'm starting to look for new tires. Problem is I'm not having much luck finding anything that's the same size. Two places I checked with want to sell me Hankook optimo h257s. I did some research and those tires got crap ratings. So, here's the question. Using stock 14 inch wheels what's the best options? Trying to not have to buy wheels and tires.

walmart i know a crappy place to buy tires at have decent stuff look for a pair of goodyear wranglers i think they come in 14's

97 b2300 help with tires

I decided to go with new wheels and tires. Getting 15' wheels and 235X75 15 tires. Only about $200 more than just getting tires. Good people at Discount Tires.

I heard General Tire had a relatively good tire for winter that fit 14's and is supposed to be at walmart. This is on my to-do list as well. Anything should be better than my Cooper Cobras.
