Hello to all, just thought i would inform to whom it may concern, i have a 97 2wd extcab with a 4.0l and a 5r55e, well i set out to convert my ranger to a 4wd by means of a c5 and a bw1354 well i have found that the flexplate bolts on a 97 and newer ranger have 8 bolts, and 96 and older have the traditional 6 bolts, how ever you can get around this by holding the newer 4.0l spacer on the older flywheel and drilling 2 more hole perpendicular to the two that line up, true you only have 4 bolts still not 6 or 8 but it had worked for me so far! fingers crossed! anyways just wanted to share this with TRS so if you are going to do this swap i would recomend a 96 or older just for the strength factor but its holding up so far!

Dustin
