97 4.0l into 2000 4.0ll ohv ?

Hello. Are there significant issues with putting a 1997 short block into a 2000 Ranger with a 4.0l ohv? I understand that the 1997-2000 4.0l ohv uses the same block. I have noticed that the donor 1997 engine has an egr and two fuel lines but the 2000 has no egr and one fuel line. I will be using the heads, intake, and exhaust from the 2000. Both vehicles are 4x4 Automatics. Thanks in advance for any help!
