96 to 03 Parts Compatibility

My son is a firefighter and currently on The Dixie Fire in Northern California. He wrecked his truck a couple weeks ago, so I am trying to help him find the parts to get it back on the road. He has a 2003 Ranger XLT extra cab with a V6 automatic. It needs a bed, air bags and a radiator (been seeping and now it's cracked). I found a 1996 Ranger extra cab V6 automatic with a blown head gasket. Will the bed, airbags and radiator all fit my son's 03 Ranger?

Bed and radiator will, regular and extended cabs use same 6ft beds, 1993-2011, only exception were "Long Bed" Rangers, regular cab only and 7ft beds(and no the 7ft bed won't work on 6ft bed frame, lol)

Not sure on Airbags

You WILL need to remove the tail light wiring harness from the 2003 bed and lens's, as they will be what's called a 2 wire system, brake and turn signals on 1 wire

1993-1999 used 3 wire system, separate turn signal bulbs
The lens's are the same size 1993-2011

car-part.com is a good site to look for used parts, and they are usually good at cross matching years that are compatible
