'96 Ranger SuperCab speaker sizes?

Hi all,


I have some excess speakers sitting out in my garage (leftovers from Mustangs, F-150's, etc.) and I'd like to give my brothers '96 Ranger a little more punch.

What size are the speakers in the door, and also in the extra cab under the windows? I ran a search, but wasn't able to come up with anything.

Both the reg cab and super take a 6x8 in both locations. Though a lot of people prefer going with a 5 1/4" as they have better bass response than the oval 6x8s. Mounting depth is about 4 1/4" front/rear for supercabs, and about 2 1/4" rear for reg.

Actually 6.5" and 6x9's are better for bass, the 5.25" speakers have nothing going for them in the bass department. But Pioneer sells some speaker specifically for Ford trucks. I got some and I love mine!
