I have a 96 ranger that has that blue-ish gray interior. It is getting pretty tired and I am tired of looking at it. What I would really like to do is an all black interior. I have been trying to locate info on the web as to what each year model had for interior color options, but I am not having alot of luck. Maybe I am not wording my searches right. Has any one done an all black that can give me some advice?

No ranger in those years had a black dash. They came with red, blue, or grey.

I painted my spare red interior black. Looks nice imo.

Well CRAPSPACKLE! I was hoping to avoid having to paint it. What about other models? Like the explorer?

Lol buy one from a junkyard and paint that sucker, that way if it looks crappy you can swap in the original lol...then again if you do it right, and use adhesion promoter, trim primer, trim paint etc. Maybe scuff it a touch...
