Not having any luck with tracking down a replacement fuel pressure sensor connector fo a 96 Ranger XLT 4.0. If anyone can point me in the right direction it'll be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

To the best of my knowledge, Ford Rangers never came with a "Fuel Pressure Sensor"

Do you mean the sender/pump connector on the tank? There is no pressure sensor for the fuel system. A picture would help with identifying things if you can. Or a description of location

This is the sensor on the fuel rail next to the shrader valve to verify pressure.

1983 thru 2011 Rangers never had a fuel pressure sensor, for sure

They have an EVAP fuel tank "air" pressure sensor, in 1996 that can be in the engine bay, on driver side near the EVAP canister on rad support, so not on the engine

Fuel injected Rangers used a mechanical Fuel Pressure Regulator(FPR) thru 2011
On the engine 1986 to 1997, and in the gas tank 1998 to 2011
Just a spring and valve setup, no electrics

What engine?
2.3l, 3.0l or 4.0l

It's a fuel pressure regulator

Try finding one using that terminology

Not on the tank. Engine is a 4.0, 5 speed. This is a 2 wire sensor on the fuel rail. About an inch from the pressure testing port.

Good call Supercab

Those hard plastic vacuum hoses DO LOOK LIKE WIRES

Yep, only electrical things near the fuel rail are the injectors, they are a two wire plug.

The pressure regulator (FPR) has no electrical connection, just a vacuum line. It kinda does look like a wire, but it isn’t and can be replaced with rubber vacuum line.
