Got one gas tank dropped on the f250, most of the rearward frame is cleaned of brackets and useless bull shit. Modified the pass side front frame rail to work with my coil placement. Had to put a 1" BL on the cab though. Couldn't clear the tcase and do my flat belly skid without it. Unfort I snapped one body mount bolt :( and I need to get new bolts. But when I pulled up the floor mat, yeah not so solid. Gonna need a new drivers side floor board :(.

Bench seat pulled and the buckets are just sitting in it. Nice smokers window eh lol.

Stupid Bump in the frame, thats about where I want my coil bucket. Pass side

No more bump pass side

No bump anymore on the drivers side.

Unsuspecting surprise when I pulled the floor mats.

Alot of the extras removed from the frame. Getting ready to move the axle closer to the cab.

NP205 tucked up and out of the way, had to put a 1" BL on to get it to clear. This is where it will sit once done. Then I'll have a 21" wide skid plate protecting the uderside.

Looks like when its all set I'll be at 111" for wheelbase.

Stock was 133"
Pushing front axle 11" and moving rear axle forward 33"

not really, actually hadn't planned on even doing a full size, but this truck kinda fell in my lap so.............

Yea, looks good. How tight is the place you go wheeling? I used to run fullsizes and would always come haome with lots of body damage. I hardly ever get any damage now with my EB but a fullsize is some much more fun to wheel. I'm looking forward to seeing it done.

Tight, but with the old ranger being exo-caged it is the same width body wise. But the full size has "less" body to damage being its not an extended cab like the ranger was and the full size will have less wheelbase to.

I am a manual trans guy myself I would love to have a ZF in it. Maybe in time. But a good e4od is better then an average c6 for 1st gear. C6's are bulletproof but they sap SO MUCH power. The e4od is what is in the truck and I have it out right now getting a 4wd tailshaft installed and its only costing me a big bottle of Captn Morgan.

Could stick the geartrain from the E4OD into the C6. Then you get the lower 1st and 2nd gear ratio in the simplicity of the C6.

Damn it was planing on getting a bunch done on the truck tonight but I didn't realize I needed to keep the little pick-up tube thingy from the old C6 filter. So that held up progress big time. The old filter is sitting in a trash can at work. So I couldn't install the trans pan which ment couldn't install the skid, couldn't put the front axle back under, couldn't mock up coil buckets couldn't check for front driveshaft clearnace on the skid

I'll try and take better pic tomorrow after I get back from LKQ.

Yea, sounds about how my projects always go. Thats good though glad to see you are making some progress. I havent had time to work on any new projects for 2 weeks now :annoyed:

typically it would of been done by now if it was like any of my old builds. But I am really taking my time with this one.

Went and bought a used B&M Starshifter for $50. Just need to fix the handle part of it. Has a usable cable. All I need is to buy the adapter for a c6.

Didn't get nearly enough done on the truck that I wanted to today. Oh and my filter kit for my trans didn't come with a gasket. That done piss'd me off. And my left exhuast pipe interferes with my skid plate damn it.

Did you bend the front frame horns in? They seem to be alot closer than they should be.

Yes, I had to bend them in to put the coils where I wanted them to be and to have them sit far enough in to clear the springs. I need to bend them back out in a different spot and relocate the core support mounts further forward and out ward to line it back up again.

How did you bend the frame horns, what did you use? And how will the frame hold up after all that bending?
