96 Bronco a good donor?

I got a lead on a guy who may trade my 88 2wd for his 96 Bronco. 302 auto 1356. It's runs and drives, wrecked on 3 corners.

Would this be a good donor for my Ranger? How come nobody is using the truck injection setup?

Its not the injection setup, its the upper intake with the dual port throttle. You know the one that is 6 feet tall.

As far as I know the only issue was at the hood.

The rough size of the engine is basically the same, it's the huge intake and the exhaust manifolds aren't exactly Ranger-bolt-in-and-go material. Plan on different headers and yeah, probably a cowl hood.

I did read that somewhere. Also read somewhere that the Bronco t-case was preferred because it has both outputs flanges.
