can you take a 96 ranger 3.0 (no dist.) and convert it to a distributor type motor to go into a 94 ranger. If so how would you do it. I have a chance to pick up a totaled 96 Ranger (all rear end body damage) for a good price and wanted to know if the engine was good for a spare for my truck. thanks Randy

Thanks For the reply. I have a friend that they totaled his ranger because it was hit in the rear (minor damage) he can buy it back from the insurance co. for $450 and said that if I want it I can have it for that price. Mine does not need anything right now but for that price the spare parts are worth it to me. Now the decision will be should I keep it for parts or fix it with a salvage title and sell it Thanks Randy
