replacing motor in my truck swapping the camshaft syncro to new motor
when i was taking it off it look like the slot on the syncro was line up with
hold down bolt, alldata say that the center line should be at 75 degrees
from engine center line now shold i line it up with the bolt or 75 degrees
like alldata says,

theres supposed to be a special service tool for lining these up....but i guess you could try some trial and error....it'll only run like crap and/or be hard to start if its off.

i have the tool but were do i put the center line with the bolt or the 75 degrees

id start with 75 degrees like alldata says. like i said, if its hard to start or runs poorly, you can re-clock it later.
