My '95 is an XL....no power windows, etc.

Will the XLT power window regulator assembly just replace the manual unit?

I'm pretty sure it will, but looking ahead for SNAFU's before I start.:D

Already bought Autoloc switches..

And these handles that will be painted black or dark grey...haven't decided yet.:icon_confused:

The parts will attach to the door properly. The wiring is the biggest issue that you will experience.

I personally suggest buying a pair of door harnesses out of the junk yard and then taking the body-side connectors and 6" of wiring and then building the cross-harness. That way you can wire your windows up to power however you want.

I personally think it's retarded to only have the windows work with the key on, so I just attached the power lead right to the battery.

Thanks my friend!

As with everything on my Ranger, I'm about setting it apart so though the factory stuff would swap out, it would not be 'different'. Besides I can't have heated, cooled, power tilt/recline seats AND manual windows...now could I?:headbang:

And yes, the windows should be able to go up and down without the ignition on. I'm exploring that option as my DD is an HHR SS and it allows the operation of the windows for a few minutes after the ignition is off and the key is out of the ignition.

Autoloc does supply a wiring diagram and I have the relays required.

Thanks again!:D
