When I drive my ranger everything works fine. If I run the headlights or even parking lights for that matter the center bulb on the speedo ( the one that lights up the 55-70mph) burns out. If I cut the lights off for a bit and let it cool down the light comes back on and works for a bit until it appearantly gets hot again. When it goes out it also makes the odometer and trip meter quit working. Once you do the cool down cycle they work fine again until the bulb goes back out. If you drive all day and never use the lights the problem never occurs. I thought maybe the socket was bad so I swapped it to a different location and teh same problem happens in the same spot. Anyone have any idea what could be going on or should I just look at swapping clusters
