'95 cougar no blinkers

Ive got a buddy with a 1995 mercury cougar, having some trouble with the blinkers that we're having a hard time diagnosing.

None of the blinkers are working (all four corners), and also the signals on the dash aren't coming on. Checked all the fuses, all good. I'm leaning towards the switch on the steering column at the end of the turn signal lever, but would love any second opinions before we start tearing into the column.

Any help is much appreciated.

Does this effect the hazards and the turn signals, or just one?

If it is both then I agree, it almost has to be the multi-function switch. If it is just one then I would replace the flasher for the effected system.

The hazards were also not working, so we picked up a new switch from the store, popped it in and it works like a charm.
