Hi everyone, I own a 95 b2300 that the 4wd quit working on. When i turn the key on i get the 4wd and 4wd low indicator light on the dash to flash 6 times and then stop. There is no further light and the transfer case does not lock in. While checking the fuses with a test light and the drivers door open, i turned the key on and just happened to notice my dome light died. I turned the key off and a couple of seconds later i heard a click and the dome light came back on. Believe it or not, i have the owners manual for the truck. After looking up the fuse panel layout, i found that fuse #27 controls the dome light, map lights , glove box lamp, visor lamps, and most importantly the 4x4 system. I put my test light on fuse 27 with the key off and had power to both sides as well as the dome light , glove box light and under hood light staying on as normal. I turn the key on, i hear a click some where [seems to be under the hood] and the dome light goes out. I check fuse 27 again and there is no power to either side. Turn the key off again and with a click dome light is fine. For those old enough to remember the shows Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits, this is a classic episode. Please Help Thanks Ed C
