why do they only make 3" body lifts for 95-97? i would like a 2". i would consider making one, but first i want to find out if there is a particular reason they don't make them. thanks.

couple reasons, i don't think i will need all of that lift, i know it's only an inch, but i'm putting on a 4" susp. and i want to run 33's i know i could do it just like that, but i want some more clearance, and 3" just seems excessive. also i've heard you don't want to body lift too high, so if all i need is 2" and i can find that, than that is what i would like to do. i'm not opposed to making one out of hockey pucks or anything. just wondering if there is a problem with only 2".

You could buy the three inch and then cut it to what ever size you want.

As for the hockey pucks, they will work, but there is another option for the homemade route. You can go to the local "boat" store and buy a stick of "boat roller" ( l cant think of the real name right now). It is the same stuff they make the body lifts out of. Anyways, they use this stuff on boat trailers to help the boat roll along while putting it on the trailer. You can cut it to whatever height you want and they are weather resistant, as opposed to hockey pucks.

These ones are rubber, but it gives you an idea of what l am talking about.

Just a thought...

thanks for the info. so just to clarify, there is no problem with only going 2 inches?

The reason they sell em that way is because the demad isn't high enough for them to make 2'' bumper brackets. you could get the block and hardware, but then have to lift your bumpers.
